India successfully tested the vertically launched short-range surface-to-air missile, VL-SRSAM, off the coast of Chandipur in Odisha on December 7. The VL-SRSAM missile is an air defence system developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) with a range of 15 KM.
