Incident of stone pelting on police was reported from Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh on 31 May after the son of former BJP councillor Jagdish Soni was killed during a scuffle between two groups. The deceased was identified as Ratan, a resident of Gandhinagar area of the city and son of former BJP councillor. As per the news agency citing reports, Ratan was attacked by some unknown assailants at Shivaji circle of the city in the late hours of 31 May.
